Location: Shanghai/Beijing with hybrid format (in-person and online)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supportthe management and delivery of UN Global Compact's capacity building programmein China, with focus areas of sustainable development, climate action, gender equality, and innovation;
• Support content localization of resources on the UN Global Compact Academy;
• Support the planning and logistics of offline and online activities and events;
• Support research, media analysis, content development and localization, outreach, social media and communications, and some administrative works.
EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• A first-level university degree in international development, business administration, management, social science, climate action, gender studies, innovation, or a related field;
• Enrolled in a postgraduate or doctor program, or last year of an undergraduate program during the whole duration of the internship;
• Previous professional/internship experience in a desired field is a good add-on, especially in sustainable development and ESG;
• Familiarity with SBTi, WEPs, ESG rating system and other corporate sustainability principles, initiatives and tools will be an asset;
• Basic image, video editing, and design knowledge and skills would be a good add-on;
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required.

• Duration: 3 months, 4 days full-time per week as a minimum.
• Position available for immediate start.
• This is an unpaid internship. Candidates are responsible for arranging their own accommodation,transportation, and insurance.
